The Superior is one of Altra's lightest and lowest-stack trail shoes, built for runners who want to feel the trail under them. Zero Drop, FootShape™ toe box, just enough compression-moulded EVA midsole to take the edge off rock but not so much that you lose ground awareness.

Generation 7 brings a refined upper with better drainage for stream crossings, and a MaxTrac® outsole tuned for the kind of mixed terrain Australian trails throw at you: dry granite, eucalypt root, loose gravel, river crossings.
