The Superior is Altra's lightest and lowest-stack trail shoe — built for runners who want to feel the trail under them. Zero Drop, FootShape™ toe box, just enough Quantic™ midsole to take the edge off rock but not so much that you lose ground awareness.

Generation 7 brings a refined upper with better drainage for stream crossings, and a MaxTrac® outsole tuned for the kind of mixed terrain Australian trails throw at you — dry granite, eucalypt root, loose gravel, river crossings.
