The Mont Blanc Carbon is Altra's trail race shoe — a responsive carbon plate built for ultra-distance racing on the mountain. The plate snaps and rolls through the gait cycle the way a road super-shoe does, but the platform is pure Altra: Zero Drop, FootShape™ toe box, and the splay-and-grip foundation that makes trail running work over hours and hours.

Under the plate: a high-rebound midsole tuned for vertical and a Vibram® Megagrip Litebase outsole for hard surface and mixed terrain. Light enough for race day, durable enough for big training weeks.
